So I'm excited to share that Donovan McKendrick has joined us full time to work directly with the founders in our portfolio. Donovan spent over a decade as an FBI Special Agent in San Francisco, doing all the things you’d expect an FBI agent to do. But he also founded the Bureau's SF cybercrime squad, worked undercover online, and led some of the biggest cyber investigations in tech, including the Twitter hack, SolarWinds, Robinhood and many nation-state attacks.

Founders building generational companies become targets - of bad actors, of nation-states, and even of government inquiries. Donovan has been on the other side of all of it. He knows how these things unfold and, importantly, how to see around corners to help protect the company before something goes wrong. He’s also joining a team that has sat on all sides of these issues: former prosecutors, operators who’ve navigated regulators and crises firsthand, and investors who’ve been in the room when things went sideways.
